The Great Bear save me aye I saw it. I was closing the tap room, already kicked out the last drunk hours earlier. I ken the night, the wind howlin’, quite the storm, damn thing kept everyone in holes that night. I put another log on the fire and that’s when I felt it. If I ever feel it again I mighten drop dead as well. The wind stopped, almost like it never was a thing. All the animals, dogs, birds, even the damn rats started to howl and screech. Then, it happened… It was like we went from night to day as the sky filled with fire. Rocks as big as houses falling from the sky wrapped in eldritch fire. Bear protect me I hid under a table and prayed. I don’t know how we survived, the fortress.. oh those poor souls. The fortress was destroyed, the docks demolished.. Aye I saw it, and that’s the last time Imma talk about it.
