It’s been a long time since I’ve looked here and there were a lot of things that happened between my last post and today.

The work that I previously did was lost as I didn’t own the server and real life ate me for awhile. The good news is that I have a new partner to help build, an updated engine, and I have learned a lot coding wise to launch this.

There have been some changes as well.

Alignments

I am leaning towards removing the alignment system entirely. The idea of inherent good or evil just doesn’t make sense overall. Instead we will track renown and trust. Will the thane in a city believe that you have his or your own best interest in mind.

Sailing

While sailing freely can make for fun adventures the system of “sail south”, “sail east” doesn’t really make for fun playing. Instead you will be able to remember docks, find maps, and just sail to where you want to go (or have a captain of the vessel sail for you while you retire to quarters)

Resting

Quit anywhere? Sleep in the main square? No. Find yourself an inn, a bedroom, or place down a bed roll. That way you’ll be more rested, inspired and ready for the battles ahead.
