Moving through forests and fields like ghosts, halflings are the lethal and unrelenting force for the wyld. Smaller in stature to humans and elves, they could be mistaken as children from a distance though up close you quickly realize they are far from that. They possess angular features and are exceedingly lithe almost to the point of unnaturally fluid movement. The gods that made them and taught them gave them the gift to move almost unseen in any natural element and it is said that no race rivals them with bow or sling.

In regards to the other races

Outside of the elves most halflings have little business or care of the other races. They respect the guidance and wisdom the elves give on the will of the wyld and the life of the forests but also often purposely misunderstand directives in order to be more forceful in the application of force against those that threaten them.

In regards to the undead

From their very first breath halflings are tasked with destroying undead wherever they may be. They hunt the undead with unrelenting ferocity and whole settlements are known to mobilize to destroy an outbreak of undead.
