There are a number of bandit groups operating in the world. With the Night of Fire interrupting and destroying most government control across the world several groups rose to prominence and took control of key locations.

The Oaks are led by Ewan Deyne, The Oaks have set up their camp in the Taig forest. Its rumored that Ewan was a member of the Kilkaen militia that deserted after their captain was killed trying to clear rats from the cornfield. The Oaks fight constantly with the halfling rangers that prowl the forest and capture as many trade caravans they can trying to head through the forest to the north.

There is a rot opening in the world and I’ve witnessed it. That hole will spit out monsters worse than anything we’ve ever had to face. I wont wear a louse filled tabard for a pig faced lord while the world tilts. I’ll gather the little folk and as much as we can sup on till the world ends. Come join me.
