South of Doma and hugging the slopes of the mountain range known in the Dominic Empire as the Heights, Castresca was at one time a lively city of thousands sustained by the wine it was legendary for. Even at its founding the city struggled with constant blooms of undeath and was constantly in need of support from the two slave legions camped nearby.
On the night of fire the city was struck by the undead dragon and fell at last. Both legions, weakened by the decades of war that has just ended have been unable to recapture the city and there are rumours the city is now ruled by the undead former slave master.
No no. You don’t understand. I know a secret way in. Past the undead yes! We can get in, grab some of the casks and be rich men before the day is done. If you don’t want a piece of this fine, I’ll see you at the fountains. I’ll be the one drinking and you’ll be the one with the shaved head.
Overheard at the baths of Villa Equilla, persons unknown.
